Cons Space Berlin 2013

At the end of 2013 I was invited to be part of the CONS SPACE in Berlin where Converse teamed up with handpicked artists and skaters to transform an empty warehouse in Berlin into an exhibition and performance space. They had a skate park and lots of events around art, music, skateboarding and film.

The artists were completely free in what they wanted to create which was a great experience. So I was finally able to realise a project which I had on my mind for quite a while. Great chance though!

I decided to paint a greyscale Boogie style on a wall before covering the wall with tons of vinyls. Then I painted exactly the same Graffiti style on those vinyls – this time in colour. The result was a really strange look – something in between greyscale with a colourful layer on top.
